C'est vraiment bien comme htel. Grande TV, lit confortable, salle de bain propres, bien insonorises !
Hotel rooms were clean and roomy; staff were good HOWEVER, ignore the offer for the $9.95 breakfast at the restaurant. It was buffet style and not much different than the free breakfasts provided by the chain hotels. Go out and have a good breakfast at one of the local restaurants.
For the price, this was a disappointment. The rooms have no mini fridges, just their minibar. The carpets were bubbled in many places and stained up. There were no towels in our room upon arrival. Thought the pool would be the saving grace, instead it was cloudy and grimy with no filters running. Also, 10 dollars for breakfast after almost 200 dollars a night is just ridiculous. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the beds were nice.
Don't do it. Find a different hotel in Laval, even if it's slightly farther than your location. This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at any hotel. Here are the reasons why:1. My entire wedding guestlist was to stay at the Saint-Eustache and the rooms were not held - only a discount was applied, but the expiry date was so early that many didn't get to book and we had to use the other hotel in Terrebonne for our remaining guests. 2. My in-laws wanted to pay for breakfast for all of our guests for the day after our wedding. I had informed the hotel of this and that no one was to pay for breakfast and it was to be charged to my in-laws bill. However, when we were checking in - despite there being a sign for breakfast for our guests - the front desk still kept asking if they wanted to have breakfast for $10. This was very frustrating as many of our guests were charged for breakfast AND our in-laws. To this day, 4 days after, we have not been refunded. 3. My aunt had mentioned the wrong name at check in, and waited until we provided her with the right name. She then checked in, under the right name, but was then charged extra - without the discount. Still waiting for the refund. 4. There are no fridges in any of the rooms, so don't stay here if you have left over food. 5. There was a LOUD wedding happening on the first floor and some of our guests were put on the second floor, just above the party. Suggestion: Put THAT party and their guests in the second floor because they'll be the ones at that party, making that noise. The customer service was horrible. I understand a language barrier, but I've been to other countries with languages that are far off from English. They just didn't care about taking care of us.
Good place to stay while in the St. Eustache area... clean... friendly... note... plan ahead... they have lots of weddings here!
